Archmongers is a London-based architecture and design studio founded by Margaret Bursa and Johan Hybschmann.
The practice excels at invigorating difficult or overlooked residential buildings, and delivers pleasurable but practical spaces with a strong focus on hard-wearing materials. Archmongers strives to achieve a suitable balance between aesthetic and function by working closely with clients.
Through iterative design they plan for their clients to take great pleasure from projects, and for their buildings to improve with age. Archmongers was short-listed for Don’t Move Improve 2016 awards by New London Architecture (NLA) for Clock House, a terraced 1960s house in Islington, currently on the market with The Modern House.
