Statement

Hayhurst and Co was established in 2004 and has built up a reputation as one of the UK’s leading young practices working in the field of residential architecture. Hayhurst and Co’s work is characterised by an inventive and playful use of materials led by a unique interpretation of site and context. Hayhurst and Co’s ‘Hairy House’ won an RIBA National Award and RIBA London Best Small Project of the Year in 2012 and ‘Tray House’ and ‘Hampstead Beach House have both won NLA Awards – it was awarded second place in Young Architect of the Year (YAYA) in 2012.
