This article is more than a year old and may contain information that is out of date. Sorry about that.
The Modern House is looking for a new architectural video for the homepage of its website.
The video is the first thing you see when you visit the site – currently a black-and-white image of the Isokon Building with clouds moving across the sky.
We are seeking entries from both professional and amateur photographers.
Content
The new video should bring modern architecture to life, and represent The Modern House brand effectively. It could depict a modern building’s relationship with the landscape (sunlight moving across a wall, for example) or show a human presence within an architectural context.
Format
H264 mp4 file, no more than 4MB in size. The video must make allowance for the text of the website to sit legibly on top of it, work effectively on a continual loop, and be submitted in black-and-white.
Prize
The winning applicant will receive £1,000. They will be credited on the website, and their name will be used in any associated marketing.
How to apply
Please submit your content to info@themodernhouse.com by 30th April 2016.
About
The Modern House website was included in The Independent’s list of ‘Britain’s Top 10 Property Websites’ and was voted one of the ‘100 Best Things in the World’ by GQ Magazine. It attracts more than 1.3 million visits annually.
Small Print
Please note that the final decision is at the discretion of The Modern House, and the company reserves the right to retain the prize money if no decision is reached. Copyright of the winning entry is to be held by The Modern House, and all submissions may be used by the company for marketing purposes (they will be fully credited).
