This article is more than a year old and may contain information that is out of date. Sorry about that.

Eleven buildings designed by modernist architect Frank Lloyd Wright are being considered by The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) for World Heritage status. Despite being many miles apart, the nominated designs are being considered as a single entry. They include: Fallingwater in Pennsylvania; Frederick Robie House in Chicago; Hollyhock House in Los Angeles, and Jacobs House, Taliesin and Taliesin West, all in Wisconsin. The U.S. Department of Interior recommended Wright’s work on the basis of its creative contribution to twentieth-century architecture.
