This article is more than a year old and may contain information that is out of date. Sorry about that.
Built in Hanoi, Vietnam, in 2015, this house is a variation on the typical narrow properties which densely populate the residential streets. Known as ‘tube houses’, this style of property is typically poorly lit, humid, and lacking ventilation, having built been rapidly to meet the growing housing demands of an expanding city.
This house, however, looks at the potential to redesign these basic, compact homes, so that a small site can be used to meet a family’s requirements.
