Completed in 1958, Balogh House is located in an area of dense woodland in Plymouth, Michigan.
It was built by the architect Tivadar Balogh for his and this wife’s own occupation. The house sits atop a basement on one side, and support posts on the other – these posts leave a void below the property which lends it an unusual sense of lightness.
