Constructed in 1949 by American modernist design pioneers Charles and Ray Eames, this property was originally designed for the Los Angeles’ Case Study House Program, focusing on the creation of homes using new materials and technologies developed during the Second World War. The architects later moved into ‘Case Study House No. 8’, situated amidst a three-acre site, overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
