House of the Day: Esherick House by Louis Kahn

December 7th, 2016

This article is more than a year old and may contain information that is out of date. Sorry about that.

Designed by the architect Louis Kahn between 1959-61 in Philadelphia, Esherick House sits in a six acre plot and has light-filled, double-height living spaces.

It is one of only nine private houses designed by the architect to have been completed.
