Old meets new in this uplifting 19th-century townhouse in Torres Vedras, Portugal. Renovated in 2010 by the architect Pedro Gadanho, the space has been segmented into sections for living, dining and sleeping using brightly-coloured modules, and a large aquamarine staircase ties it all together seamlessly.
