House of the day: House for architects and artists by AFGH

August 20th, 2014

This article is more than a year old and may contain information that is out of date. Sorry about that.

House for architects and artists, completed by AFGH in 2004, is situated at the foot of the Üetliberg mountain in Zurich, Switzerland. The building, which contains two double-storey apartments and two roof apartments, is designed so that all residents have a south-facing view and a north-facing view of the city. The house combines a concrete core, wooden structure and galvanised steel facade. Photography:Valentin Jeck
