House of the Day: House in Yatsugatake by Kidosaki Architects Studio

Completed in 2012, at the foot of the Yatsugatake Mountains in Nagano, Japan, this property was built principally to take advantage of the spectacular views.
The owner spent a number of years prior to comissioning the house exploring the local area in search of the ideal viewpoint upon which to build it.
