Juul House by NKS Architects, in Yukuhashi, Fukuoka, Japan, was completed in 2012. The house, built primarily from concrete, was designed for a musician who wanted a home that could also be used as a small music hall. The distinctive curved ceiling contributes to the acoustic performance of the house. Images: Kouji Okamoto
