Built in 2014 in Lo Barnechea – a mountainous region of Santiago, Chile – this structure is composed of two independent volumes, connected by a wooden staircase at the back of the house. The rectangular concrete base is designed to blend in with the surrounding landscape, and to provide a solid support to the triangular, glass-fronted A-frame structure that sits on top of it and forms the main living space.
