House of the Day: Scrubby Bay House by Patterson Associates
For Andrew’s final House of the Day, he has chosen this wonderfully remote timber-clad house in Canterbury, New Zealand, a place he has always wanted to visit. Designed by Patterson Associates in 2014, the house is only accessible via a small farm track or by helicopter. Large windows frame the uninterrupted views of the coast, and storm shutters provide shelter during harsh conditions.
