Built in Detroit, Michigan, in 1955 the Turkel House is one of Frank Lloyd Wright’s most recognisable projects.
Commissioned by Dorothy Turkel as her permanent home, the original design was rectangular, but transformed into an L-shape part-way through the build to accommodate an extra bedroom.
