House of the Day: Umbau Müllerhaus Berlin by asdfg Architekten

Located in a popular Berlin neighbourhood, this family home was converted from an old miller’s house.
The facade was meticulously reconstructed based on a historical drawing of the original building, whilst the interior retains the exposed brick walls but has been opened out to create vast, double-height living spaces.
