The Wolfson Trailer House in Salt Point, New York, is amongst Breuer’s most distinctive residential properties – incorporating a 37-foot Spartan Royal Mansion trailer as one wing of the house.
It was commissioned in 1949 by Breuer’s friend, the artist Sydney Wolfson, and features many of the architect’s trademark features – most notably cantilevered living space and natural wood finishes.
