This article is more than a year old and may contain information that is out of date. Sorry about that.
We’re excited to launch the new Collections section of our website which groups our sales properties into fifteen categories, reflecting the diversity of Britain’s modern architectural heritage. As well as the best one-off Modernist houses, it contains loft apartments, conversions, plots of land, new homes, flats on the Barbican Estate, Span houses, and much more.
Our Co-Founder Matt Gibberd explains:
“A lot of people don’t realise the sheer breadth of properties that we represent. For us, the word ‘modern’ reflects a certain way of living. We sell huge numbers of Georgian and Victorian houses with extensions and conversions, for example; these are not modern buildings, but they are being inhabited in a modern way.
“The rise of the internet has made searching for a new home far easier, but property websites such as Rightmove and Zoopla are very location-specific. That’s fine if you know what postcode you want to live in, but our experience is that buyers are increasingly flexible when it comes to location. Our buyers put the quality of the property itself at the heart of their search. They want to be inspired by their living space, and the Collections will help them with that process.”
