Rosie Falconer, sales advisor at The Modern House, has selected Glenview Court in Sydney as her favourite building.
After finishing her undergraduate degree in 2008, Rosie left Newcastle and moved to Sydney. She lived there ‘for a blissful few months’ in a flat in Glenview Court that had been partially converted into an artist’s studio.
Described as ‘the hospital’ and ‘indisputably the suburb’s ugliest apartment block’ by local residents, Rosie considers it the building that first sparked her interest in Modern architecture.
She noted the interesting community of tenants, which includes artists and writers, as well as the amazing views over Tamarama beach.
