A number of The Modern House’s holiday lets featured in The Sunday Times Travel section this weekend, in a selection of the top architectural stays in the UK.
The article features Vista Point in West Sussex, designed in the 60s by modernist architect Patrick Gwynne; Old Hunstanton in Norfolk, designed by the architect Robin Spence and inspired by the Case Study Houses in America, and Ty Hedfan in Wales, a contemporary house by Featherstone Young, which features a glass-walled living room cantilevered over the Ysgir River.
The global selection of architectural holiday lets includes Taut’s Home in Berlin, one of the houses that Bruno Taut designed in the first half of the 20th century, on the Unesco-listed Horseshoe Estate.
