This article is more than a year old and may contain information that is out of date. Sorry about that.
A contemporary take on a red brick Victorian house, 31/44 Architects and Arrant Land’s most recent project sits at the end of a pattern book terrace of 20 dwellings in East Dulwich. Drawing from these, the design began with an act of continuity, referencing detail, form and pattern, and ended with a highly individual home.
Earlier this month The Modern House was delighted to host a sell-out discussion at the house between Will Burges, Founding Director of 31/44, and Duncan Blackmore, Creative Director of Arrant Land, in which they discussed the design process for the property.
