This month, the South African-born photographer Koto Bolofo will discuss his photographic journey chronicling the transformation of the Design Museum, with award-winning designer Sophie Conran.
Between 2012 and 2016, Bolofo visited the Commonwealth Institute – the new home of the Design Museum – 40 times, capturing pivotal moment in the iconic building’s transformation. His photographs, displayed within the museum, convey the drama of the transformation whilst simultaneously capturing individual details of the building and renovation process.
The talk will take place at the Design Museum on Tuesday 31 January.
