HOK have submitted planning proposals for a housing development above the access shaft of Crossrail in Holborn. The 2,800 square metre project is spread over eight storeys and includes plans for a mix of 22 one, two and three-bedroom apartments. The scheme lies on the border between the conservation areas of Bloomsbury and Kingsway and adjacent to a Grade II-listed building on Southampton Row. The Fisher Street shaft that the project sits above is already under construction and is projected to complete in 2015. HOK
