This new, comprehensive, monograph published by Phaidon covers the work of the iconic Italian architect and designer Ettore Sottsass.
Sottsass is best known for founding the Memphis Group in Milan in 1981, an Italian design and architecture group that designed colourful and flamboyant Postmodern objects, furniture and fabrics. Over his lifetime he pursued disciplines ranging from graphic design and photography to architecture. In this book, each chapter is dedicated to a period in his career, including illustrations, photography and sketches from the Sottsass archive. For more information, visit Phaidon.
