This article is more than a year old and may contain information that is out of date. Sorry about that.

Released today, Modern Forms is a collection of more than 200 images taken by the photographer Nicolas Grospierre of modern architecture from across the world.

It includes images of iconic structures in the Middle East, North Africa, Europe and Asia, and explores the political and social ideologies that drove their construction.

The book is published by Prestel.
