It’s no secret that north London is home to some of the most avant-garde post-war housing schemes in the country, with Camden at its epicentre. Camden has the highest number of Listed post-war housing estates of any London borough, many of which were led by Sydney Cook – borough architect between 1965-73, who was well known for his imaginative, high-quality developments.
Modernists Estates has published a new pocket guide and map which provides an informative introduction of some of the most notable schemes.
