In this month’s edition of The World of Interiors, our director Matt Gibberd interviews the architect Laura Dewe Mathews about the ‘Gingerbread House’ she designed for herself in Hackney.
Built on the site of a 19th-century box factory, the house is clad in fancy-butt cedar shingles, and won the Architects’ Journal Small Projects award in 2013.
