Set for UK release on the 10th March, this book by Heidi Creighton is the first major monograph chronicling the work and architectural philosophy of William Krisel.
Krisel was born in 1924, and during his career designed more than 30,000 homes throughout Southern California, many of them in partnership with the Alexander Construction Company. His aim was to make modernism ‘livable and affordable’ and the houses are designed to maximise the local scenery, embracing the good weather and sunshine of the Coachella Valley.
