Building Scotland 1945-1985 is a photographic journey through Scotland’s recently built past, hosted by Studio DuB architects
Studio DuB are currently working on a restoration of the boiler house by Peter Womersley at Dingleton, Melrose. More details about that project can be found here.
Womersley was widely celebrated in his lifetime and now has an emerging almost cult-like following. Back in 1960 when Basil Spence was asked to name the best modern house in Britain, as President of the RIBA, he answered, “Anything designed by Peter Womersley”
