Designed by Wells Coates and completed in 1934, the iconic Isokon Building is widely recognised as one of the finest achievements of Modern Movement architecture. It was given a Grade I listing, making it one of the most historically important buildings in Britain, and the gallery tells the story of the building and its famous residents, including Agatha Christie and Walter Gropius. There is also a new exhibition on the works of Marcel Breuer for the Isokon Furniture Company.
