Flemish architect Marie-José Van Hee (b. 1950) is best known for her meticulously crafted residential projects. Having established her practice in Ghent in 1975 she focused primarily on designing family houses, however her career has also involved a number of significant public projects including the Antwerp Fashion Museum (1999) and more recently the Ghent Market Hall (2012).
This April the Barbican will host a lecture by Marie-José Van Hee, in which she will discuss her most notable projects. More details can be found here.
