Responsible for some of the world’s most iconic furniture and architecture , Charles and Ray Eames inhabit a vital part of 20th Century design history.
Yesterday, the Barbican launched the first Eames retrospective in the UK for almost 20 years.
The exhibition which includes almost 400 items, combines personal effects with products designed by the couple throughout their partnership, to provide an insight into their lives, their work and their ideas.
