Completed in 1939, the Sturges house is located in Brentwood, Los Angeles.
The house was completed in the middle of Wright’s career, and according to the auctioneer is representative of his focus on ‘the engineering behind architecture’ during that period.
It is in on the market for the first time since 1967 and is one of 75 lots from the estate of Jack Larson.
The property will be sold by auction in February.
