This mid-century house, at the end of a private road above the Altadena hills in California, was designed by William L. Duquette in 1958. The house features post and beam, high ceilings, walls of glass and open-plan living spaces. There are city and mountain views from every window and the living room opens onto a deck looking over the Los Angeles skyline. Outdoors is a large pool, spa and patio, and the house neighbours the National Forest and Los Angeles Crest hiking trail. It is currently on the market for $850,000 with Deasy Penner.
