This bright two-bedroom, three-storey house close to Shepherd's Bush, west London, was designed by WGP Architects. Its London stock brick and Portland stone façade cuts a striking and contemporary profile while remaining sensitive to its Victorian townhouse neighbours. Privacy, light and the maximisation of space are at the heart of the house's design, exemplified by its south-facing stepped garden and the ribbon windows that stretch across the ground floor.
