The Canal House is a genuine one-off: it is the only property in London that forms the bridge over a canal. It was built in 1906 for the manager of the Regent’s Canal, and has since been reconfigured and extended by the esteemed architect Douglas Stephen, who has added a glass and steel pavilion to the side.
