“The striking pink accents on the building’s façade have rendered it something of a local mid-century landmark”
This two-bedroom, three-story mid-century maisonette is set back from coveted Wickham Road in Brockley’s conservation area. Built in the 1950s, the building's ground level once served as the garage for the neighbour’s Rolls Royce. Later, the building was extended to include a separate kitchen, while the other two stories were opened up to create a series of bright, contemporary rooms. Wickham Road - which was laid down in c.1850 - is the oldest and widest of the four grand north-south axis avenues in Brockley. It's known for its plethora of public green spaces, tree-lined streets, nature reserves and large gardens.
