Lime Kiln Lane

Architect Tim French was commissioned to build this mid-century home in Bridlington, East Yorkshire, in the 1950s, with a brief to make it modern and maximise sea views. The result is a striking 1,771 sq ft modernist home with a double-height glass wall, warm wood panelling, an open-plan layout, and views across the North Sea towards the cliffs of Flamborough Head. The design prioritises light, natural materials, and flow, while strategic glazing draws the garden into view.
