Tamarind Mews is a striking cluster of five new homes, each with a private garden, set among the exciting redevelopment of Meridian Water in north London. Built by Stolon Studio, the houses were designed with a strong social drive; as such, the buildings are set around a shared and enclosed courtyard that gives the mews a peaceful sense of retreat. Meridian Water is undergoing a 20-year redevelopment led by Enfield Council, with the area already connected via the Overground to Tottenham and Stratford. A new high street is to be established, and there is plenty of open outdoor space close by, including greenbelt land and the meandering River Lea footpath.
