Statement
Henley Halebrown Rorrison (HHbR) began as a series of informal collaborations. During the first couple of years the practice worked on a range of interiors, exhibitions and domestic schemes. Then in 1997 the Manhattan Loft Corporation commissioned the practice to convert the 10,000m2 Shepherdess Walk industrial building in Shoreditch into loft apartments. HHbR has since worked on a number of private houses as well as multi-unit housing developments. The practice just completed London’s first co-housing project at 1-6 Copper Lane in Stoke Newington and is one of the micro-flat architects selected by Pocket Living for their affordable housing initiative.
The practice is one of a number of entries recently added to our Directory of Architects and Designers.
