Statement
‘The studio twists existing structures, inserts new forms, mixes old and new to make defiantly contemporary architecture.’ Wallpaper* magazine.
Jonathan Tuckey Design is a leading advocate for transforming existing buildings to contemporary uses. Our architecture is one of change, and we relish juxtaposing modern elements over original features to create dynamic and exciting spaces. We are a small office and bring personal attention to each project, from conception to completion. Unlike many practises, we make physical models of every site and building we work with, giving our clients a full understanding of the space – and often throwing up something one would miss on a computer screen. Our work features widely in the printed press and we have been selected for numerous awards, including first prize for the Grand Designs ‘best remodelled historic building’ in 2007 and 2009. For a bespoke service that is as unique as your home, contact Jonathan Tuckey Design.
