The Demountable House was designed and built by legendary Brazilian designer, sculptor, furniture maker and self-taught architect José Zanine Caldas. Made from glass and solid reclaimed Ipê wood from the Bahia rainforests this gem from the 80s is a testament to this visionary’s ethos of using local salvaged timber for a more ethical build. The building is now up for auction with a guide price of $250,000 to $350,000. For more details, click here.
