A collaboration between the architect and a Belgian film producer, this house was completed in Marrakesh, Morocco, in 2007.
The large site was originally purchased with the intention of constructing three houses on it, but the designs were gradually whittled down and one property was built in order to preserve the surrounding landscape. The design plays on the relationship between the house and its surroundings, creating a sense of equilibrium and connection to the land.
