House of the Day: House Aartrijke by Atelier Tom Vanhee

This former farmhouse, built in an agricultural region of Belgium, was adapted into a contemporary family home in 2016. The two wooden volumes added to the property draw on the typology of the original house, in particular the distinctive pitched roof.
