Built in Japan’s Shiga Prefecture in 2008, this property was designed to maximise the inhabitant’s relationship with nature, whilst also maintaining a sense of privacy.
The architects achieved this by building a trench to the reverse of the property, and creating an interior courtyard at the centre of the house.
