House of the Day: House on the Top by Mutar Estudio
May 17th, 2017
This article is more than a year old and may contain information that is out of date. Sorry about that.

This elevated summerhouse was jointly commissioned by two couples who co-owned a site close to the coastal town of Curanipe, Chile.
To accommodate both couples, the house is divided into three pavilions which provide each owner with a distinct private space as well as a shared communal area. The house is raised on a podium to make the most of the expansive views toward the Chovellén River and large windows frame the landscape. The property was completed in 2016.
