House of the Day: Norton House by Frank Gehry

Frank Gehry was commissioned in 1984 to design this property for the artist Lynn Norton and her husband, the writer William Norton.
The design – a sculptural assemblage of everyday materials – is based on Gehry’s own house in Santa Monica which the Nortons had seen the previous year.
