The Twentieth Century Society have just announced their spring lecture programme which will offer an overview of the six principal styles of 20th century architecture.
Beginning on the 26 January, weekly lectures will cover movements from Art Deco to Post-Modernism.
We’re particularly excited about Alan Powers lecture on ‘Modernism in the 1930s’ (2 Feb) which will consider the initial vision of the Modernist movement, and Barnabas Calder‘s discussion of Brutalism (9 Feb) which will explore the various positive and negative implications of the term.
