House of the Day: Poli House by Pezo von Ellrichshausen

This article is more than a year old and may contain information that is out of date. Sorry about that.

Located on a cliff edge in the Coliumo peninsula, Chile, this house sits on a natural podium surrounded by vast open space.

The entire property was built from handmade concrete, using untreated wooden frames. It was completed with a small mixer and four wheelbarrows, creating shallow horizontal strata from which the exterior was constructed.
