The Royal Academy is kicking off their 2017 programme with Virtually Real – a collaborative pop-up project between HTC Vive and the Royal Academy Schools.
Three RA students, past and present, have been selected to create works of art using virtual reality technology, allowing the viewer to experience simulated, gravity-less worlds.
As part of the pioneering exhibition, the virtual artworks will be 3D printed and exhibited, inviting viewers to interact with them both virtually and in real life.
